today i walked and saw a boy
he wore the same shoes you use to
this boy reminded me of you
but as i got closer i realized
he was someone i once knew
it could not be
this could not be happening to me
not another deja vu
i walked behind him on my way home
i took another path just in case
he might begin to walk slow
i knew those shoes
but he could not be you
so i went the opposite way
so that i wouldnt run into the memory of me and you
